I studied Mathematics at the University of South Florida on the graduate level and Industrial Engineering at Georgia Tech for my Bachelors degree. I went on to get an Educational Leadership degree that helped to make me the expert in PRAXIS and FTCE tutoring education that I am today. I began tutoring many years ago and have loved every minute of it. I love school- going to it, teaching it, working at it - everything about school makes me happy!! As a high school math teacher who taught everything from Algebra to AP Calculus, I have the qualifications and experience to make sure tutoring sessions provide students with understandable topics and examples, while not pushing them to being overwhelmed. I also provide testing tips from my many years of successful testing to students on the spot, when appropriate, to help text anxiety or correct erroneous thinking. I have developed these skills over my many years of tutoring and have had a great deal of success with my students, keeping an almost perfect star rating! I aim to maintain a relaxed atmosphere where we can share our love of learning and the student feels comfortable asking questions or saying they do not understand. Making a real connection with the student is one of the fundamentals of learning and the part that makes me happy!
