I'm a senior at California Lutheran University pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science. I've had two years of math tutoring experience with high school and middle school level students. Math is my favorite subject to tutor because I enjoy the challenges of problem solving and being able to share the study habits that made me successful with those that need help. I personally feel math is the funnest subject to learn once you have the right direction. With my tutoring style, I help the student visualize problems by drawing them out whenever possible and explaining every little step of the way in arriving to the solution. We will work through several problems together until they recognize a pattern that they can comfortably revert back to as reference.
