About Me

As a second-year Computing Science student at the University of Alberta, I've developed a strong analytical foundation that complements my passion for mathematics. For the past two years, I've had the opportunity to tutor students ranging from 1st grade through second-year university, helping them master concepts from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus. I tutor all levels of math, including standardized test prep like the SAT, where I scored in the 99th percentile for the Math section. What drives me as a tutor is seeing students gain confidence in their abilities. I believe that every student learns differently, so I focus on adapting my teaching style to suit individual needs whether that means breaking down complex problems into simple steps, using visual aids, or offering real-world examples. My goal is to make math approachable and even enjoyable, especially for students who may have struggled with it in the past. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy building software projects, exploring AI tools, and solving logic puzzles. I'm passionate about continuous learning and love sharing that enthusiasm with my students to help them reach their academic goals.
