Sisiame
I have an associate's in Computer Information Systems and a bachelor's in Computer Systems Technology with a software engineering focus from CUNY New York City College of Technology. I served as a teaching assistant at CodePath, working with cohorts ranging from 50 to 200 students. I led office hours and tutoring sessions, from 1-on-1 to small group settings, teaching logic, coding in Java, Android development, problem-solving, and even training junior developers and college students. I also taught math (trig, calc, pre-calc, algebra) during high school. I specialize in coding, computer science, software engineering, and logic. I find coding particularly exciting, as I love helping students thrive in this growing industry. Critical thinking is my second passion -- it's fulfilling to help students develop their problem-solving abilities to their full potential. My teaching style is hands-on, working collaboratively with students on projects or assignments, adapting to their pace and needs. I enjoy learning new things, meeting people from all walks of life, and making meaningful connections. I've helped hundreds of junior engineers and students land jobs at major companies like Meta, Google, and Amazon, and I've managed large groups of students effectively.
