About Me

I am a graduate from Dalhousie University. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology Engineering in Mexico, and my Doctorate degree in Microbiology and Immunology at Dalhousie University. For the last four years, I have tutored Biology, Chemistry and Spanish for students ranging from grade 6th-12th, as well as undergraduate students. Additionally, I have tutored Spanish for Adults who are looking to improve their conversational skills, and I'm always happy to share my Latin America culture with my Spanish students. I'm very passionate about science, technology, research and teaching. As a tutor and lecturer, I know school can be challenging and stressful at times, so I'm always happy to help you navigating difficult topics, with different examples and approaches you, as student, prefer. I can help students getting ready for standardized test as I went trough AP and IB courses myself. I like to have easy-going, engaging and fun tutoring sessions, as I strongly believe learning should be interactive. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, board games and hiking.
