About Me

As a teacher with 7 years of experience, I'm excited to apply my skills and experiences to be a personalized tutor. I earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. After first trying another career path, I found my purpose in teaching, as I feel deeply that this is the most meaningful way I can spend my professional time. Over the years, I have learned how important it is to connect with my students, and understand their perspective so that I can support students where they are and close gaps at the same time. I am passionate about helping students have a more productive learning experience; after all, knowledge is the only thing no one can ever take from you!
