About Me

I believe that if you love what you teach, your students will learn to love it too. I am passionate about teaching students because I believe without encouragement and support, students will often stop questioning, inquiring, exploring, and will lose their natural sense of wonder about the world around them. I think it is important to foster a good learning ability because it is a life skill they can carry with them throughout all seasons of life. I currently teach 4th grade, and in the past have worked 1:1 as a behavioral therapist (5+ years experience). I understand that all students learn differently and I think it's important to find their niche in their learning style to make lessons engaging for them. I have my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Arizona Global Campus, along with a Registered Behavioral Technician certification. I tutor in all elementary subjects ranging from 2-4th grade.
