About Me

I have a Master's in Education in Exceptional Learners, with over 20 years of teaching, tutoring, and mentoring individuals of all ages, stages, and abilities. I also have 10 years of experience designing, creating, and teaching curricula including Behaviour Modification Programs. I am professional, personable, and eager to help you along your educational journey. Although I have taught all stages, my specialty is working with individuals with disabilities or who struggle with learning in general (The Autism Spectrum, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Auditory processing disorder, Language processing disorder, and Nonverbal learning disabilities). I have tutored numerous adults/children who do not have English as their first language and want to improve their reading skills, reading comprehension, writing, math, or prepping for their GED, etc. I can evaluate and focus on the student's strengths, while also evaluating where the difficulty lies and help build learning tools to create positive results faster. I am very proficient in all Adobe software products, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Express, Creative Cloud (specializing in Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) as well as PowToons, Microsoft Office Suite, Sharepoint, LinkedIn, Zoom, Teams, and OneDrive. I have developed, designed, and created many online educational programs including tutoring students on how to use learning management systems such as Zoom, Teams, and Moodle. Online learning is extremely important in today's world and having an expert help guide students through the tips and tricks of these learning management systems will help ensure the student is focusing on educational content and not struggling with the software, guaranteeing they outperform.
