About Me

After 15 years teaching middle-school, high-school, and college mathematics, I am pivoting to a new career in programming. I am currently tutoring mathematics, Python, and data science as I begin my master's degree in Computer Science. As a math teacher, I have always placed a particular emphasis on communication: even in the simplest problems, mathematics is fundamentally about communicating understanding. I enjoy teaching students ways to make their understanding clear and to share it with other learners. I have taught IBDP, IB MYP, AP, and A-level. I am particularly proud of my IB exam record: although most of my students came from very weak math backgrounds, in the 4 years that I taught DP, all of them passed their IB math exams. I look forward to helping students of all skill levels to unlock their potential and learn to share their strengths with the world!
