About Me

I am a professional school teacher; I have a master's degree in TESOL with a minor in Curriculum development from Nova Southeastern University, and I am working on my doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Curriculum EDD (c). I have been in the educational field for over 30 years. For the past 10 years I held a position as a school director at an international school back in the Dominican Republic. For many years, I worked as a language teacher in an elementary school in New York as well as in the Dominican Republic. At the beginning of my career, I worked as an elementary teacher here in New York City. I moved to the Dominican Republic to pursue a doctoral degree. This time, I worked as a Language Arts teacher, focusing on developing a program throughout my years in the Dominican Republic for students with learning disabilities. I worked as a college professor for the Education department and prepared students for the SAT in the Dominican Republic.
