About Me

I believe in lifelong learning and am passionate about assisting others to achieve their academic goals and aspirations. I also know that the key to success is patience. I am a published author with a BA in Psychology and an Academic Writing Certificate from Queen's University. I have been a freelance writer for over 2 decades with several journalistic credits to my name. I facilitated a writers' critique group for novice and experienced writers for many years; one of my students went on to win a literary award for her memoir. As an RN, I provided health teaching for teens and new mothers. I am the recipient of a Canadian Achiever's Award and I find tutoring a thoroughly rewarding experience.
