About Me

Greetings I gained my Education Degree at St. Martin's College in Lacey, Washington. I have a degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Special Education. I have been working in the education field for 30 years. I have had my own classrooms, substituted, home schooled my own children and taught on line. I believe all children can achieve great things through learning. Each child has their own individual style of learning and I love finding out what that style is for each child and helping them obtain their goals. I believe a child who loves to learn can achieve anything they put their mind to. I will happily tutor any subject for grades K-8. High School I will happily tutor history, social studies, and English. My favorite subject to tutor is reading! If a student can read well they can do anything!! When I am not busy in the world of academia, I love being outside. I enjoy riding horse, hiking, gardening, swimming, boating and just working outside that is summer fun! In the winter I like to ski, both downhill and cross country. I also like to ice skate, go sledding and go for walks. If it is to cold outside then I like to read, play games and watch movies.
