I am a graduate of Cornell University. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration with a minor in Real Estate at the Nolan School in the SC Johnson College of Business.

I am a graduate of The University of Northern Colorado where I earned my BSN and a Master's in nursing education. I received a second Master's in Nursing with a focus in Nurse Midwifery. Since graduation, I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings and spent 13 years as a Senior Instructor at the University of Colorado of Nursing. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, gardening and family time.

I am passionate about teaching and love being able to share my knowledge and experience with others!

I am most passionate about are reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary, and phonics and elementary math. I also have experience teaching students how to be more organized and strategies in test taking.

I am currently a middle school math teacher, though I am proficient in a wide variety of mathematics-related domains.

I am open to various deliveries including direct instruction or activities and games that may help the student. The most important thing is for the student to hopefully understand and learn the topic and whatever way is best for them I am willing to do.
