A successful study of this subject means you'll need to grasp the historical concepts of significant events; understand historical people, places, and situations in the context of when they happen; and analyze the ethical dimensions that make up how cultures teach and learn from their own histories. It may be important to know how to read maps, organize timelines, and debate public policy. History includes religion, primitive people, revolutions and wars, as well as intellectual and cultural norms and practices. There's a lot to learn, and to earn a good grade or pass a challenging test, you'll need to be organized, analytical, and able to communicate thoughts and positions about major world events. Next, we worked on his AP Gov because he has a test on Wednesday. To prepare for his test, we went over his study guide and his class PowerPoints. We also discussed some current day examples of federalism. We then worked on the subjunctive tense in Spanish. I taught him when to use it and gave him the WEIRDO acronym to help him remember these cases. I also showed him some example sentences using the subjunctive. To wrap-up, I wrote some sentences and asked him to identify them as indicative or subjunctive.
