The student has a physics test coming up this Friday. I helped her primarily review for the test which covered Newton's Law of Gravitation, centripetal acceleration and motion as long with a period equation. The student will finish the last three problems on her own time and study extra material.

Today we worked on the student's review for her physics exam. She was good with the vocabulary from past topics. She had a few questions on breaking down vectors into their components and on 2-D kinematics problems. She's doing well with free body diagrams. She could use a little more practice on finding the normal force when its not equal to the weight of the object.

In this section, the student and I covered the kinematics equations in physics such as solving problems of free falling bodies and straight up projectiles. The student and I worked on understanding the concepts of physics and applying them mathematically to problems. I left him to review the two problems we went through and to circle problems and concerns he has for our session tomorrow.
