I am a dental student pursuing my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Columbia University. I grew up in Trinidad and Tobago. Many people equate island life to easy going personalities and no worries, which encompasses me. However, within the Caribbean, Trinidad also has a notorious reputation for rigorous academics and producing strong academic talent.

I am an aspiring physician who recently took the MCAT. I have been a tutor for six years. I have tutored high school and college students in subjects including chemistry, physics, biology, and mathematics (from pre algebra to differential equations). I have also worked at Stony Brook University as a college biology lecturer.
