Program emphasizes data security, privacy, and staying current with technological developments. Includes CompTIA A+ coursework and CompTIA Net+ coursework.

Program teaches students how to provide service to dental patients and ensure procedures are performed smoothly, efficiently, and comfortably. Training includes practicing with dental simulators (Typodonts), mastering safety measures, taking impressions, processing X-rays, and managing a dental operatory. Students develop chair-side techniques for dental restorations, periodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics, and reconstructive procedures. Curriculum also covers the business side of dental offices, including communication and financial management, as well as lab and sterilization procedures. Prepares students to become multi-functional healthcare office practitioners and to sit for the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification exam. Curriculum awards an Associate of Applied Science Degree and covers both clinical and administrative skills.
