I received my Bachelors of Science in Electronic Engineering with an emphasis in robotics. After graduation, I taught Robotics and Mathematics to students at various high schools to prepare them for national contests. Then, I traveled to South East Asia, to do an MBA in Finance and Banking with a full scholarship.I am also the founder of cultural community to bring students from different part of the world together.I was hired as a full-time lecturer in the business faculty at Limkokwing University and for four years, I taught Math, Economics, Finance and Business Statistics. I was voted best lecturer in the Business faculty by students for seven consecutive semesters. I received a scholarship to study for an MA in Economics from BGSU while tutoring students in Math and Economics for one year. I was then hired as a Business Analyst at the United Nations to work on ODS. I am passionate about teaching Math, Finance, and Economics. Helping struggling students prepare for exams is a very rewarding experience. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students.

In college I found out how I learned best and recognized that all people are different in how they learn and study.Recognizing that all people are different is important to my approach to tutoring because what works for some won't work for others. I founded and run a literary and art magazine called The Literati Quarterly. I have been fortunate enough to serve in the United States Air Force where I acquired Russian linguist training and the US Army National Guard where I acquired French linguist training. I look forward to putting not only my life experience to your service but also my passion to learn and teach.

I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2018 as an Honors English major in the creative writing track with minors in French and art history. I'm also a recent graduate of the Columbia Publishing Course. As someone who works in publishing, the written word is my life. I'm passionate about giving my students the skills they need to tell their own stories in the ways they want to tell them. I have years of writing experience in workshop classes and literary reviews, in addition to my volunteer experience in teaching English as a second language (ESL). In college, I volunteered at my university's international student conversation practicum. When I got to Boston, I completed a month-long training to teach English at the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center. My teaching style is focused on empathy and communication, while always finding ways to have fun.

I have tutored since high school, where I began tutoring junior high students in math. Since then, I have helped students (including medical students doing hospital rotations) succeed in academics. I have improved a lot in my teaching methods and make each session high energy and interactive.Most recently I did a pediatrics internship at UCSF-Fresno, but with my background in the biotechnology industry, I'd like to go back into research. Currently, I have received my Bachelor's degree in mathematics and biology and am pursuing my Master's degree in Public Health. When I am with a student, I always strive to make sure I fully understand what questions the tutee may have during the session, and ensure that I am able to answer these to the best of my ability. I love using both visual and auditory methods to ensure I am able to relay my information as best as I can!
