We reviewed material for her test that she will finish tomorrow. We had one problem that we reviewed that involved a bisected chord with several values given and the student was asked to find the diameter. Using various trig functions and drawing two triangles she was able to find the length of the diameter. She also worked on her social studies homework which involved finding the definition of many key topics from the civil war and then writing sentences about them.

We started a new chapter with rational expressions. The first section had single fractions that needed to be factored in either the numerator or denominator or both and then you could cancel common factors. The second section was multiplying fractions both with numbers and/or variables. The third section was dividing fractions that became the same as the previous section once you turned it into multiplying by the reciprocal.
