Yadira Garcia is a math teacher at a local district. She has been tutoring since 2009.

I am a senior at Arizona State University double majoring in Physics and Chemistry. I've been interested in physics and chemistry ever since high school where I had some very inspirational teachers. Over my college career I have learned many concepts which I can pass on to other students through tutoring. Outside of school I do Tae Kwon Doe, where I am a certified 4th degree black belt, and play video games.

I recently graduated from Masters in Economics at ASU. During my studies I trained myself in Economics, Finance and Statistical Methods. Additionally, I have been amazed by sharing my knowledge, helping people and teaching them something new. I worked as a teaching assistant for 3 years now and I have good practice with students from various majors. I can adjust myself easily and do my best to explain core economics subjects.

I'm a college student at ASU studying Finance but I used to be an engineer so I have completed all math classes up to Calculus 3 including differential equations and linear algebra. I just have a passion for mathematics and I love to help others. Hopefully I can get them to not only understand math but also help them find a liking for mathematics.

I love physics and mathematics and am passionate about education. Few things in this world make as happy as seeing the light come on for a student and seeing how it changes the way they view the world around them.
