As a passionate educator with a Doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Florida, I have over 25 years of tutoring experience across various subjects, including Elementary School English, Math, Algebra, ESOL, and Reading, as well as High School economics, history, geography, phonics, and ESL. My teaching philosophy centers on creating an engaging and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring concepts at their own pace. I believe in the predictability of math and strive to instill confidence in my students by emphasizing the rules that govern problem-solving. My background includes writing on communication skills and motivational speaking, which enhances my ability to connect with students.
