About Me

I have a BA in English Communications and I am TEFL Certified (120 hours). I have previous experience with teaching adults, teenagers, and children online. I also have experience with teaching abroad. I worked at a training language center for pre-teens and teenagers in China. Some of the topics I have taught were in: academic writing, reading comprehension, critical reading/thinking, grammar rules, KET, PET (english fluency tests), annotation, paraphrasing, essay writing, spelling bee vocabulary words, IELTS, language development, and etc. I was also a mock interlocutor and helped students by asking them practice questions and then recording, evaluating, and scoring their exams. I also gave oral placement tests where I assisted in choosing the class level a student should be placed in. Lastly, I look forward to continuing to help students with their ESL or English needs. I am patient, friendly, easy to talk to, and will take my time to make sure you have a smooth and useful session. See you soon! :)
