I am Special Education Teacher with more than 20 years of experience working with regular education students and students with learning disabilities. I am currently working in an Elementary school providing remediation inside the regular classroom to those students whose struggle with the skills for their grade. I am also develop and work with the IEP (Individualized Educational Plan) goals and make sure that the accommodations for my ESE students are provided during tests situations and whole group instruction. I meet with the parents to discuss students' progress and to create goals that we can work together.
I'm able to provide the strategies to improve students reading fluency and comprehension and I can also provide the strategies that will help them improve their math skills. One of my greatest accomplishments is to see my students succeed in class and improve their tests scores. I really love what I do!
