About Me

I am a former certified educator with certifications in TOEFL, English 612, Elementary PK3, Music K12, ESOL K12, and ELL, and I support multiple subject areas beyond these. I love helping students of all ages learn, and I am driven by those "aha" moments when something clicks. I began working with students early in life and became a full-time teacher in 2001. I hold a bachelor's and master's degree in vocal performance and completed additional education coursework to earn professional certification. I tutor English, literature, grammar, test prep, music, music theory, Google Suite applications, Microsoft Office, and many more. With more than 9,600 online classes taught, families describe me as encouraging, engaging, and attentive. My approach is personalized. I connect with students first, then tailor learning to how they learn best.
