I'm a graduate of the City University of New York. I received my Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science and my Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematics from Lehman College and The City College of New York, respectively.
Growing up, like many other students, I struggled learning math. When I was 10 years old, my mom hired a private tutor to help me with my 4th grade math class. So I know what it feels like to be the only person in the classroom who feels left out because they're falling behind their peers in grasping new material. I get it. This is why I decided to pursue tutoring because I can empathize with students who are struggling, and love to see how, with guidance and support, their knowledge and self-confidence increase.
With my calm, patient, non-judgmental, and friendly personality, I've successfully helped dozens of students overcome their confusion, fear, and apprehension for math over the past 5 years. I'm confident I can help you, too!
I'm currently available to tutor pre-algebra, algebra, & pre-calculus.
In my free time, I enjoy gaming, lifting, playing chess, and volunteering at my local church. I'm also a huge fan of the original Yu-Gi-Oh series!
