About Me

I am a retired special education teacher who is a little bored. I love working with students who are struggling specifically in reading; however, I can work with elementary and middle school students in most subject areas. I have 20 years of experience working with students with special needs from Kindergarten to seniors in high school. I can work with high school students in English Language Arts, but at this level in math, I am limited to pre-algebra and algebra. I currently have 3 master's degrees: Special Education, Reading, and Curriculum and Instruction. I spent the last two years working as a Response to Intervention specialist in elementary school targeting reading, writing, and math.
