About Me

My name is June Dolber, a graduate of TungFang University in Taiwan (Republic of China) with a diploma in Industrial Arts. My background strengthened my Mandarin fluency and deepened my appreciation for Chinese characters as both language and art. I spent three years as a first-grade Chinese language teacher, building strong foundations for young learners and developing engaging, adaptable teaching methods. Since 2020, I have proudly worked with Varsity Tutors as a Mandarin tutor. I provide personalized, one-on-one lessons tailored to each student's goals and pace, incorporating games, drawing activities, and creative exercises to keep learning interactive and enjoyable. Above all, my priority is to create a positive and supportive space where students feel comfortable practicing, asking questions, and building confidence step by step. Seeing students grow, gain confidence, and achieve success is the most rewarding part of my work.
