About Me

I received my BA in anthropology with minors in history and classics at Hunter College in New York City in 2007. A few years later, I attended LaGuardia Community College and became a licensed veterinary technician, which means I am an animal nurse! My academic interests mostly relate to animals: zoology, evolutionary ecology, paleozoology, social evolution, and phylogenetics. I also love studying history, and will always assert that nothing happens in a historical vacuum. In my free time I do a lot of reading and a lot of writing, on topics ranging from politics to science to kids' cartoons.
