About Me

It is my mission to see that every student, regardless of age, has an opportunity to find success in their educational endeavors. I hope that my enthusiasm and love of learning will becoming contagious and inspire others to strive to become their very best. I have over twenty years of experience in teaching grades K-8, Special Education, Basic Education and ESOL in Public, Private (Catholic School), college, and online settings. My Education Specialist Degree is from Liberty University, Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction (with an emphasis in Reading) from Grand Canyon University. My undergraduate degree is from the University of North Florida in Elementary Education. I also have experience teaching Reading at a Technical College in Georgia. My hobbies included kayaking, playing my flute in the church orchestra and helping pets find forever homes.
