I am a British Citizen schooled in the UK, and I graduated from Huddersfield University and The London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art, London. My subjects were Theater Studies and Professional Acting. As a tutor and workshop leader, I have taught English Language, Comprehension, Composition and Critical Analysis. I have also worked with students with specific learning difficulties, such as dyslexia, to help them create effective work and study strategies in school and universities in the UK.
My passion for tutoring is in helping students gather a "learning kitbag of tools." I like to help set in place a way of approaching work that students feel confident with and can implement without supervision.
My personal literary interests are in Shakespearian text, modern fiction, and history- particularly British and Roman. Outside of that, I am a religious player of the ukulele, guitar, and bass, and as an actor, I have worked for The Royal Shakespeare Company, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, London, The Royal Court Theatre, London as well as West End and Regional Theatre. On screen my credits include work for Warner Brothers, Paramount, HBO, BBC & TNT.
I currently live in Los Angeles with my wife and my dog.
