I have been teaching for over thirty-five years and have enjoyed every moment. To me, education is not just about learning facts and passing exams, it is also about becoming a life-long learner. It is about using knowledge to improve one's life both personally and professionally. There are skills which need to be mastered and this is one important element of education. I also believe that education can improve one's enjoyment of life regardless of the occupation or field of study one pursues.
I am especially proficient in the areas of essay writing and editing, proofreading, and the mechanics of grammar and usage. I have extensive experience in helping students prepare for standardized tests such as the SAT. I have also taught AP English and I am very familiar with the requirements of the AP Exam.
