I am a 7th year teacher who absolutely loves what she does! Having a younger sibling with multiple disabilities, I always knew that I wanted to go into special education to "do better" for our students. I strive to be the best teacher I can be, so that my students get the best education possible.

I am a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and the New England Conservatory of Music. While I enjoy being a lawyer, I have always had a passion for education and teaching. For five years, I taught in the Music Business program at Belmont University. I'm Mrs. Payne! I am certified for Kindergarten-5th grade but am happy working with students of any age! Math is definitely my favorite class!
