About Me

Hi from the Midwest! I'm Jori, a former high school English teacher with a Masters of Education in Literacy. I graduated from Calvin University in 2017 with a B.A. in English Secondary Education and a minor in Psychology, and I graduated with my masters from Calvin in 2024. After 8 years in the classroom, I decided to take a step back from teaching as I raise my family, but I am excited to continue to help students grow and flourish as a tutor. My expertise lies in academic writing, grammar, and American Literature, but I love anything ELA-related!
