About Me

As a dedicated educator with a PhD in Instructional Management and Leadership from Robert Morris University, I have over 5 years of experience both tutoring and teaching in the classroom. My specialties include Academic Coaching, College and University Admissions, English Grammar and Syntax, and Essay Editing, where I focus on creating a supportive learning environment that empowers students to articulate their thoughts and reach their academic goals. I am currently on faculty at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Social Work, where I teach a variety of courses, including Child and Family Advocacy and School Law. My teaching philosophy emphasizes individualized attention, recognizing the unique needs of each learner. I am passionate about guiding students through the complexities of academic writing and the college admissions process, helping them build confidence and essential skills. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my 8-year-old daughter and discovering seasonal activities in the vibrant Steel City.
