About Me

As a dedicated, passionate educator with a Master's in Education from the University of Rhode Island, I bring over 25 years of tutoring and classroom experience in subjects such as Middle School mathematics, Algebra, Integrated Science, Earth Science, Environmental Science General Chemistry, and High School Biology. My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a nurturing environment where students feel empowered to explore their interests and tackle challenges. I pride myself on adapting my teaching strategies to meet diverse learning styles, ensuring that even the most complex topics become approachable and engaging. My passion for teaching is fueled by a commitment to academic excellence and fostering students' confidence in their abilities. I was an overseas secondary school teacher for 17 years and I taught in 6 different countries. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy sightseeing , traveling and reading, which continually enrich my perspective and inform my educational approach.
