About Me

I am a teacher who graduated with a dual license in elementary and special education from the University of New Mexico. I have five years of experience teaching first through sixth grade and I loved each grade I taught for different reasons. I have a passion for teaching reading and literacy. Throughout my career, have been fortunate enough to continue my professional development by completing LETRS through Lexia as well as a 5-week online training course through IMSE focusing on teaching literacy in multi sensory ways. I am taking a break from the traditional classroom setting to spend more time with my seven-month old son.
