About Me

I am a Special Education Teacher with more than 20 years of experience working with regular education students and students with learning disabilities. I am currently working in an Elementary school providing remediation inside the regular classroom to those students who struggle with the skills for their grade. I am also developing and working with the IEP (Individualized Educational Plan) goals and making sure that the accommodations for my ESE students are provided during test situations and during whole group instruction. I meet with the parents to discuss students' progress and to create goals that we can work on together. I'm able to provide the strategies to improve students' reading fluency and comprehension, and I can also provide the strategies that will help them improve their math skills. One of my greatest accomplishments is seeing my students succeed in class and improve in their test scores. I really love what I do!
