My passion for tutoring stems from my own academic journey, allowing me to connect deeply with students facing challenges. With a Bachelor's degree in Japanese and Graphic Design from Western Carolina University, I have over 2 years of experience specializing in Introduction to Japanese, as well as ELA, writing, elementary school math, science, and SAT/ACT prep. My student-centered approach incorporates imagery and interactive methods, fostering a supportive learning environment. I create personalized worksheets and stories tailored to individual needs, especially for those who struggle with attention, such as students with dyslexia or autism. My artistic background enhances my ability to present complex concepts visually, making learning enjoyable and effective.
