Explaining Math in simple words! Experienced Math tutor. Friendly approach. My goal is to make a student understand math from a simple perspective. Math and subjects related to math are usually very simple and logical to me and that's exactly how I'm trying to present them to my students. My motto is "if you can't simplify something - you don't really understand it". So, I'm giving my students explanations of math problems and theories in a simple way; in so called "normal words". I have a friendly approach; students often feel like a friend explained them something and now they perfectly understand it. It's all about understanding! I am an experienced educator/tutor in: - Mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, Calculus) - Microeconomics - Principles of Economics with a demonstrated history of working in the education sector. I provide tutoring for: - middle school - high school - 1st year of college - adults I have been tutoring for 8 years, ever since I graduated from a Mathematical High School in Europe. I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Economics. I've been working with students individually and in groups of up to 12 students at a private school for tutoring. I have thought hundreds of students who had been extremely grateful for the help I provided. My experience contains: - providing personalized education to students - helping students improve their knowledge and competence at their own pace - teaching them study techniques and tricks in order to understand Math as well as being able to draw conclusions from the studied material - helping students with their homework which is often hard to understand but turns out to be easy when presented to students in a proper way - assessing the student's progress throughout the tutoring sessions - communicating student's progress to their parents (if a parent requires so) Most importantly for me, my students often developed love for Math, after they figured it wasn't really so hard in the end.
