About Me

I love teaching! I have experience providing one-on-one tutoring for a wide variety of students and always find it a pleasure to tutor according to my student's individual learning style and needs. I earned a BA in English Literature from St. Joseph's College, NY. I also did graduate study in English Literature at SUNY Stony Brook (MA program) and New York University (PhD program).My subjects include reading, writing, and literature. If you are looking for a tutor because you are taking a standardized test such as the GRE, GMAT, or SAT, I can help you with the verbal sections and with general test-taking strategies. I see helping a student reach his or her goal on any test as my own opportunity and puzzle to solve, and I enjoy the challenge.
