I graduated from NYU in 2024 and studied environmental sciences and public health. I learned to have a passion for statistics since I found myself using it in so many of my courses. Statistics isn't for everyone, but I hope to help students expand their knowledge or gain confidence in using it for a class. While at NYU, I worked as a data analyst for a clinical trial and as a biostatistics intern. I am skilled in R studio for statistical and epidemiological analysis. This helped me bridge the obvious language gap whilst breaking down the tests into their fundamentals to better grasp the strategy behind them. I firmly believe in learning-by-doing which is why I encourage all my students to try first before revising their methods and understanding of the subjects. I currently teach kindergarten and coach literacy tutors across multiple schools, so I know both what good instruction looks like and how to explain it clearly to someone who's still learning. I specialize in early literacy and foundational skills, but I'm equally comfortable supporting elementary students across subjects. My approach is warm and high-expectation: I build genuine relationships with kids while holding them to real standards.
