I am currently pursuing a BSA Biology degree and just finished my freshman year at UT Austin. At UT, I am a counselor for Camp Kesem, an officer for the American Medical Student Association, and I research with a lab on campus. Camp Kesem is a week-long camp for kids whose parents have cancer. I really enjoy working with kids and also volunteer at a children's hospital. I am super passionate about the sciences and math and am open to tutoring, biology, chemistry, calculus, algebra, writing, english, and psychology. I can't wait to help others learn and pursue their own personal passions! Outside of academics, I love to bake, sketch, take long walks, and play with my dogs!

I recently graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics. I scored exceptionally well on my SAT and earned a perfect score in the writing section. At Columbia, I took a wide variety of courses in areas ranging from computer science, calculus, and statistics to philosophy and political theory. My previous teaching and mentoring experiences include working as a volunteer math tutor at Columbia’s Double Discovery Center and as an editor at the Columbia Daily Spectator and The Columbia Undergraduate Research Journal. In my senior year of high school, I worked at my local YMCA's aftercare program, where I was also a camp counselor for the past three summers. Regarding my teaching style, I like to go step-by-step, and take one question at a time. I believe that education is crucial because it allows us to learn about a topic, and take our knowledge to better the world.
