I am currently post-doctoral Associate Research Assistant in the School of Earth and Space Exploration at Arizona State University, working in the research group led by Prof. Amanda Clarke. I was born in Sardinia (Italy), and I achieved my Master at the Universita degli Studi di Cagliari in 2005. I am a geology major and focused my interest on volcanology and igneous petrology, with particular interest to explosive eruption physical processes. I achieved my PhD at the Universite de Geneve (Switzerland) under the supervision of prof. Costanza Bonadonna and working mainly on volcanic particle characterization, dynamics of magma fragmentation and tephra dispersal and sedimentation

I am an attorney located in Scottsdale, Arizona. I received my law degree from Tulane University in New Orleans. I graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in History and Economics as well.I enjoy teaching high school math, and all levels of standardized test prep: SAT, ACT, PSAT, AIMS, LSAT and GRE. I have taught Algebra at the high school and community college level. I have also tutored students for the ACT, SAT, and GRE tests, as well as a variety of high school and college subjects, especially focusing on math.

I'm a Neuroscience and Behavior senior student-athlete at the University of Notre Dame. I am a software engineer with a degree in Computer Information Systems and a minor in Chinese. Currently I am working towards going to graduate school for computer science. I studied abroad in Beijing, China, for my junior year of high school, where I took intensive Mandarin Chinese courses, immersed myself in the local culture, and traveled throughout China. During the summer before my sophomore year of college, I was awarded a Chinese Flagship study abroad scholarship and took 400-level Chinese courses at National Taiwan University. I can read and write with both traditional and simplified characters. Tutoring has given me many wonderful opportunities to engage with disciplines that I am passionate about while guiding students in becoming better learners. My primary experience has been tutoring elementary and middle school students in humanities subjects and math. In addition to this, I have tutored primary and secondary school students in Mandarin Chinese both privately and as a teacher's assistant for two summers at a Chinese school in my hometown. I believe a student at any age or level can benefit from practicing core skills while introducing logical and efficient solutions into their math repertoire!

I also love tutoring in reading and writing because although these subjects never came easy to me as a child they are things that I loved doing and worked hard to excel in.My tutoring style is characterized as laid-back. I want to understand my students strengths and weaknesses in the areas they struggle with so I can help them in the best way possible.
