I am currently a college student studying nursing. I have tutored students since 8th grade and I am thrilled to be able to help students who, like me, sometimes don't understand all the complicated stuff school throws at you! It doesn't annoy me at all if you don't get it the first (or second, or third) time because then we are challenged to find new ways of understanding the subject and, yes, I think that is fun!

I have many years of experience tutoring, both in university settings as well as elementary through high-school education. I primarily tutor student in English, Writing, and Psychology, but I also have extensive experience in the Social Sciences. I have also gotten the opportunity to help students who have English as a second language, where I currently edit academic papers for those wishing to publish. I'm a senior at New Mexico Tech graduating in May with a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Materials Engineering. I've always had a strong love of learning, especially in the fields of science and literature. Since childhood, I've been a voracious reader. These habits have carried on throughout my life, and currently I love reading science fiction and science non-fiction. I've always excelled in writing and literature, and I've also worked as a contributor to the New Mexico Tech Newspaper: Paydirt. I've also assisted my fellow classmates in various writing assignments for classes in addition to various applications. I consider myself incredibly friendly and easygoing and I can't wait to help out as many students as I can!
