Students will be introduced to a formal system of financial-record management for proprietorships and partnerships. Students will also study accounting vocabulary, the relationship between accounting and business, and the accounting cycle for service business organized as proprietorship. Accounting software will be used to enter transactions and create financial reports. A business simulation is used at the end of the semester to aid students in synthesizing and applying their learning.

This course focuses on developing essential functional academic skills for everyday life. Students will engage in activities that enhance their ability to navigate real-world situations, promoting independence and practical problem-solving. Instruction is tailored to individual needs based on IEP goals.

Advanced Mixed Choir is a year-long elective designed for soprano, alto, tenor, and bass voices in grades 9-12. This performance ensemble is selected through auditions, and emphasizes vocal technique, music literacy, aural skills, and ensemble singing. Students participate in concerts and additional performance opportunities throughout the year.

Advanced Sports Medicine: Evaluation is a yearlong course for students interested in deepening their knowledge of sports medicine, with a focus on injury assessment and treatment techniques. Building on introductory skills, students explore advanced topics in emergency care, injury mechanisms, anatomy, and physiology through classroom instruction and hands-on learning.
