As a dedicated tutor and educator with over 2 years of experience, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a minor in Education. I specialize in ACT, SAT, sciences, et franais ducation aussi! My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and engage deeply with the material. I believe that fostering curiosity is key to academic success, and I strive to connect the subject matter to real-world applications. My passion for education is driven by my desire to help students achieve their goals and discover their potential. In addition to tutoring, I am a professional toxicological researcher currently doing work studying the genetics behind PFAS (forever chemicals, like Teflon) and neurological development. Additionally, I am a semi-professional bass guitarist with 4+ years of digital music content creation and music festival management. I have a strong dedication to environmental justice, and currently do volunteer work for two climate education organizations, including Earthday.org! In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, trying new recipes, and fiber arts (including sewing, crocheting, and embroidery).
