About Me

I am an energetic teacher that makes learning come alive through wonder, stories, music, art, artifacts, and meaningful interactions with students. I have a particular passion for the humanities, and love tutoring anyone who is either struggling to understand something or wanting to take their learning to a higher level. My particular strengths are in the ancient languages, history, and theology. I have a minor in Greek and have taught both Latin and Koine Greek. My ancient language knowledge informs my humanities instruction. I have taught history classes for seven years, including ancient history, Rome-Middle Ages, and US History. Also, I have a degree in Bible/theology, and have taught church history, New Testament, Old Testament, and Apologetics/philosophy. I can't wait to come alongside you and help you flourish as a student and a person!
