About Me

I am passionate about teaching and enjoy helping future nurses enter the workforce. I have taught a variety of nursing courses and worked as a college professor since 1984. I also coordinated a Student Success program at a college of nursing for 5 years and led group and individual tutoring sessions to increase student retention. I have cared for patients in a variety of settings to include schools, homes, long term care units, psychiatric units, acute care hospital units, the ER and the OR. I assisted in the writing of questions for the NCLEX examination and the Nurse Educator Certification Examination. I currently teach at Thomas Edison State University and have taught Health Assessment, Pathophysiology, and Pharmacology at the BSN and MSN level. I look forward to assisting you to be successful in your nursing courses.
