About Me

I am a certified educator with over 13 years of experience in STEM education, engineering instruction, and curriculum design. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Howard University and a Master of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Rutgers University. My teaching journey has taken me from the engineering industry to public schools, community colleges, and enrichment programs; where I've developed a passion for helping students build confidence through creative problem-solving and hands-on learning. I specialize in tutoring STEM and design subjects including AutoCAD drafting, 3D designs and printing, circuit design, TinkerCAD, Scratch coding, and academic support in math and science. I particularly enjoy teaching 3D design and creative technology, as these subjects empower students to turn their ideas into tangible outcomes and connect directly to real-world careers. I believe in a learning environment where instruction is patient, personalized, and project based where I can focus on building a strong foundation, nurture curiosity, and make learning both fun and meaningful. I adapt lessons to match each student's goals, learning style, and pace, always aiming to create a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged to take ownership of their growth. Learning should be empowering, and my goal is to equip students with both the skills and the confidence they need to succeed.
