About Me

I think it's possible for anyone to understand a subject if they are shown enough patience and grace. From personal experience, I know what it can feel like to not understand a subject as quickly as others, and feeling like I couldn't do it. I want to help kids who may feel that way right now too. I know they most definitely have the capability of understanding, they just need someone who can take the time to explain it to them with no judgement involved. You should feel empowered after you get something right, there should be a boost of confidence. I hope to instill and nurture the confidence of kids one math problem at a time. My learning style includes breaking down more complex problems with smaller examples. This is to make sure that students fully understand the context of what's going on. Verifying the fundamentals of a problem are fully understood is key to having a complete understanding of current school work. I have history teach K-11 working at Mathnasium as a Math Instructor. I have had multiple kids, with all different personalities, at the same table excited to learn. I look forward to meeting future students!
